Festival Season.

It is that time of year in New Orleans when the weather is near perfect and there is music in the air. We move in cycles down here, much like the weather with our very own unique rhythm that follows deep rooted traditions – you know what I mean…

Anne Dale was inspired to design the “Rhythm of Louisiana” pendant before HBO discovered the “Treme”.

In fact, as a young girl she often answered the phone when Al Hirt, Louie Prima or Pete Fountain would call for her father (Louisiana Music Hall of Fame – Paul Ferrara) for gigs all over the state, country, world.

Today, Anne’s son Stephen Dale, carries on the family musical tradition as a singing National Park Ranger in the French Quarter. The New Orleans Jazz National Historical Park in the Treme neighborhood was created in 1994 to celebrate the origins and evolution of jazz, America’s most widely-recognized genre of music.
