The world has predictable  seasons – Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall but the rhythm of the calendar and seasons in South Louisiana are a bit spicier.

After Swimming and Snowball Season, starts Hunting Season then there is the Who Dat Season which overlaps Gumbo Season and by the time the bonfires go out King Cake Season is upon us…

Louisiana Shrimp Boots from $39.95

So after Mr. Mardi Gras puts away the floats it time to slow down and reflect on our blessings, which leads to my favorite Seafood Seasonfresh shrimp, oysters and fish from America’s Gulf Coast.

Surprisingly Seafood Season can be rather formal – “Cocktail Attire” is recommended.

Anne Dale has cooked-up some high fashion jewelry accessories for this Seafood Season –  Louisiana White Shrimp Boots crafted in sterling silver then hand enameled to Creole perfection.

A must have item for everyone that loves Louisiana Gulf Coast Seafood!

bon appétit
