Louisiana Cultural Economy Foundation has awarded a grant that will assist New Orleans jewelry store Anne Dale Jeweler in the marketing the new State Gemstone – LaPearlite®. 

 

 

Focusing on her newest design “The Pelican” which features an oval shaped LaPearlite® as the birds breast. The Louisiana Bicentennial inspired Anne Dale to combine the state bird and gemstone as symbols of resilience and beauty in the design.

Louisiana Cultural Economy Foundation — a New Orleans-based nonprofit — funds its grant program primarily through private donations.

The hope is the grant funds will help cultural workers earn more money and spawn other cultural jobs.
