THE STORY BEHIND JEWELER FOR A CAUSE

After Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans in 2005, Anne Dale designed the I Know What It Means to Love New Orleans badge — a sterling silver piece that became a symbol of the city’s recovery and raised over $175,000 in hurricane relief funds.

From that moment Anne understood that jewelry could do more than mark milestones. It could carry a message. Identify a community. Remind someone they are not alone.

Jeweler for a Cause was born from that belief — and has since partnered with organizations including Catholic Charities, the Easter Seals Foundation, the Vascular Birthmark Foundation, House of Blues and dozens of others to shine a light on causes that matter.

More to come here. The story is not finished.
